Pros

1. Cuts grading time by roughly 1/3.
2. Could have daily assignments to ensure students keep up.
3. Writing text-only questions is quite easy.
4. Allows students who need extra help to realize that earlier on and come in with questions.

Cons

1. Writing graphics-intensive or simulation problems is hard, especially if you wish to allow students to retry the problem with new numbers.
2. Network problems.
3. Not for the faint of heart: Instructor needs to be able to quickly solve technical problems. Sample error logs.
4. Security issues.
5. Depersonalizes course?
