Virtual Workshop for High-School Teachers

The Lehigh Valley Physical Sciences Teaching Workshop is a professional-development workshop for high-school teachers of physics and related subjects. Topics covered will include strategies for teaching and learning, tools for remote teaching, preparing students for college, classroom demonstrations, resource libraries for physics teaching, and learning assessment.

The virtual workshop, which will hosted on the Zoom platform, will take place on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There is no registration fee. This workshop is facilitated by Brooks Thomas, a practicing particle physicist and Professor of Physics at Lafayette College, inconjuction with the Landis Center for Community Engagement. It is supported in part by the National Science Foundation under Grant PHY-1720430.
